Dishwasher & Glasswasher Repair, Servicing and Maintenance
In busy commercial kitchens, warewashing repair and maintenance can often be overlooked, but it’s vital to the smooth running of any kitchen.
Dishwashers and glasswashers are constantly used and are the backbone of kitchen service efficiency. Continuous use can take a toll on any equipment, and commercial dish and glass washers are no exception.
As with all commercial equipment, keeping on top of minor issues is essential to ensure they stay manageable. By engaging with Certa Service, we can often diagnose and solve problems before they become more ominous. Repairs that are left too long can become very expensive and often cause irreparable damage.
Daily maintenance tasks, such as keeping detergent levels consistent and emptying filters, are essential. Therefore, we can also help sites to ensure kitchen staff know how to use the appliance correctly. This, in turn, can limit energy consumption and longer-term wear and tear and ensure your equipment reaches its full lifespan potential.

Frequently asked questions
If you’re not sure where to start, here are some questions we get asked a lot.
-
How many items can the engineer inspect while on site?
If you have more than once issue it is always helpful for us to know about these before the visit, and then the engineer can be made aware. The engineer can look at as many items as required while there, so don’t worry if you have more than one unit that is faulty. Please note specific engineers are require for Gas/Refrigeration/Extraction etc, so if you have two units from different categories then you may need separate engineers.

What happens if the engineer can’t resolve the fault on site?
In some cases a first time fix may not be possible and parts will need to be ordered. If a temporary fix can be made then the engineer will also aim to do this, however please note this is not always possible. If parts need to be ordered we will contact the manufacturer and obtain all the information, a quote will then be emailed across to you. Once we have received confirmation you wish to proceed with the repairs in writing all parts will be ordered and the engineer will return to fit ASAP.
-
Does the engineer carry spare parts?
All of our engineers carry a good selection of commonly required spare parts. When any additional parts are required, we can obtain manufacturer-approved spare parts. Once ordered, we will let you know precise timescales for completion of work to allow you to plan your schedule efficiently.
