Last week, the Certa team took some well deserved time away from the office to participate in the annual festive Top Golf challenge. Dressed in Christmas jumpers and armed with our trusty clubs and plenty of trash talk, spirits were high.
With an array of trophies and medals on offer, competition was fierce. After some highly dubious initial handicapping, various challenges meant that everybody had a shot a becoming the 2021 Certa Top Golf Champion. Ben’s ill-advised lunchtime Jagerbombs put pay to his push for the title, while the halftime burgers and beer weighed down others. After much laughter and despite his shocking swing, Dan2 narrowly outpointed Dan1 to take the trophy in a final shot shootout for the title.
After returning to the office for some ‘Not So Secret’ Santa presents (and to check on our all-important service calls), we all attempted not to fall asleep before heading out for some more food and drink (all in the name of supporting the hospitality industry of course).
Food, drink, presents and golf (er, maybe not). It’s what Christmas is all about right?
